Celebrating cultural diversity through the arts.
Presented by the Diverse Artists Network (DAN) and taking place this year for the very first time, DIASPORA! was a four-day, multi-venue event in Bristol (and beyond). Working in collaboration with iconic institutions like Bristol Beacon, Bristol Old Vic, Tobacco Factory and Watershed, the festival gave a platform to marginalised artists who haven’t, historically, had their fair share of the spotlight.
I was the sole Festival Producer. Working closely with the DAN team, including its Co-founders Vandna Mehta and Deasy Bamford, and with artists, venues and other collaborators, I helped to deliver something needed and rare for Bristol.
